GRAND  VITARA  PRICE INDIA

The ex-showroom price of Maruti’s small SUV in Delhi ranges from Rs 10.70 lakh to Rs 19.95 lakh.

The Maruti Grand Vitara, which conforms BS6 2 and RDE, was released in India on April 1, 2023.  

Variants

Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Zeta+, Alpha, and Alpha+ are the six general variations available.

The strong-hybrid powertrain option is available for the plus (+) grades. There is now a factory-fitted CNG option available for the manual Delta and Zeta trims.

Colors

Available in ten different shades: Pearl Midnight Black, Brave Khaki, Exuberant Blue, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, Pearl Arctic White, Splendid Silver with Midnight Black Roof, Sizzling Red with Midnight Black Roof, and Brave Khaki with Arctic White Roof.

It has a maximum seating capacity of five persons.

Engines and Transmission

The 1.5-liter mild hybrid and 1.5-liter strong hybrid engines in the Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder, respectively, provide 103PS and 116PS of power.

The latter features three driving modes—gas, hybrid, and pure electric—as well as self-charging technology.

The 1.5-liter mild hybrid petrol engine in the CNG versions produces 121.5 Nm and 87.83 PS less than the standard engine.

They come solely with a manual transmission that has five speeds.

Strong hybrid vehicles can only be equipped with an e-CVT gearbox, whereas mild hybrid vehicles can be coupled to a 5-speed manual or an optional 6-speed automatic transmission.

It is just the top-spec mild-hybrid manual version that comes with all-wheel drive.

Mileage

  • The Grand Vitara’s stated fuel economy numbers are as follows-
  • AWD mild-hybrid MT: 19.38 km/h
  • AT for mild hybrid: 20.58 kmpl
  • MT for mild hybrid: 21.11kmpl
  • e-CVT, strong hybrid: 27.97 kmpl
  • Fuel efficiency for CNG is 26.6 km/kg.

The measured fuel-efficiency numbers are as follows-

  • AT for a mild hybrid: 13.72 kmpl (City)
  • gentle hybrid AT: 19.05 mph on the highway
  • Robust hybrid electric vehicle: 25.45 kmpl (City)
  • 21.97 (Highway) for a strong-hybrid e-CVT

Safety

The Grand Vitara is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability program (ESP), ABS with EBD, and up to six airbags .

It also features a 360-degree camera, hill descent control, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Features

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara’s remarkable front is further highlighted by its headlights, grille, and DRLs, which together provide the vehicle’s prominent external feature.

The 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, the spoiler, the exterior cladding, the wraparound LED taillights, and the skid plates in contrast colors are further features. There are nine color options for it, some of which have a black roof. 

The Grand Vitara’s interior has a panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, and Maruti Link informatics.

Numerous safety features are also included, including hill hold assist, hill descent control, tire pressure monitoring, and six airbags, to mention a few. 

Wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch digital driver display, heated front seats, a heads-up display, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Rivals

The Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Hyryder, and Citroen C3 Aircross are the vehicles with which the Maruti Grand Vitara competes.

There is also the Mahindra Scorpio Classic, which is a tough substitute.
